3 Easy Steps
STEP 1:
Finding the right home can be a very exciting adventure if the process is done correctly. It is probably the greatest investment that you will make in your lifetime so special care and consideration must be taken every step of the way.
STEP 2:
Obtain a pre-approved mortgage. Before we purchase a home we have to make sure the bank will lend us the money. I will put you in touch with my mortgage specialist and make sure you are taken care of.
We go shopping. We need to narrow down your wish list the best we can. Let me know the “criteria” of your dream home. I will send you back several listings, then we will hop in the home finder-mobile to view the properties you desire.
STEP 3:
O.K., we found your perfect home. We put in an offer, along with a deposit cheque to hold the property and choose a date in which we want to close (move-in). Once the offer is accepted, we will give the accepted offer to your lawyer and your banker for the “final touches”.
(Don’t forget to put aside approx. 1.5% of the purchase price of the home for closing costs, ie. legal fees, land transfer costs, moving expenses etc.)
